This
art of state, majestic building, illustrating Medieval
European and Chinese architecture was build by Sisodia Rajput
King Maharaja Udai Singh. This is a complex of some splendid,
immense beautiful buildings, truly picturesque gardens and
fountains surrounded by fort walls near famous Pichola lake.
Jagdish Temple - dedicated to God Vishnu and build in 1615
A.D. is situated here. 1571 A.D. constructed, oldest area of
Palace "raj-angan" is presently in use as the museum. Watching
Chinese and Dutch ornamental tiles at "Chini Chitrashala" and
"Hawa Mahal" build on about 90feet high natural rock formation
will surely add to pleasure of visitor.
