This is one of the finest architectural monument situated in
the southern Indian state Karnataka. Fort is easily accessible
from the famous tourist city Mysore as the distance between
the city hard and fort is just about 20 km. During the British
rule the fort was the headquarter and residence of famous
worrier King Tipu Sultan, besides the natural scenic beauty
and architecture excellence, paintings of Tipu Sultan,
reflecting his war activities are the temptations for the
tourists visiting the fort.
