Datia Fort - Gwalior - Madhya Pradesh

City Palace Jaipur This marvelous fort which was host to British Governor-General, Lord Hastings [1818] and where Viceroy, Lord Curzon held is famous Darbar in 1902 was constructed by Bundela King Bir Singh Dev in 1620. Watching down from the oriel windows of this fort of mixture of Rajasthani and Mugal architecture with amazing beautiful balconies and bridges is a pleasure, worth to watch experience.

Datia is on Chennai - Mumbai railway route so it is accessible by train but for air travel nearest airport is at Gwalior.
