This massive and princely fort situated near Kotta city in the
Rajasthan was constructed in the year 1345 and famous for the
huge water storage, which was used by the city population that
takes shelter within the walls of forts to meet with drought
situations of the area.
Three famous gates Lakshmi Pol, Phuta Darwaza and Gagudi ka
Phatak are almost in ruin status but birds view of city
is most fascinating and spectacular view for the visitor.
Fort is just about 40 km from Kotta which has rail station of
own and good network of roads for bus travel but most of
tourist prefer to add this with their Ajmer tourism.
