This
Sawai Raja Jai Singh built [1734] fort is also known as Tiger
fort because in local language Nahar means Tiger and Gad [Garh]
means abode. During the 19th century Sawai Ram Singh II and
Sawai Madho Singh II have renovated this fort. Looking at
Man Sagar Lake and the suburbs from the fort, which is
standing to speak about the Royal heritage and majestic past
of Rajasthan, is most spectacular and mesmerising view for
visitors of the Jaipur. This is one of fascinating
tourist spot around the pink city which offers a walk in
colorful corridors and hallways with some fine blends of
drinks and snacks at fort cafeteria.
