Kumbhalgarh
fort yet another magnificent fort from Rajasthan is also known
for the world's second largest [36km long] wall after the
Great Wall of China. This fort with seven massive gates,
over 350 temples and most fabulous structure "Badal Mahal "
was constructed in the 15th Century by Rana Kumbha and was
thus named as Kubhalgad. This Mewar region fort is also
accredited to be the birth place of great Rajput warrior
Maharana Pratap. Fort is ideal spot for the a superb birds
view of the surroundings and being few kms from Udaipur is
easily accessible.
