There
are many buildings in the Delhi city which are sketched out by
famous architect Edwin Lutyens and due to this at some places
city is referred as Lutyens's Delhi. One such construction is
fabulous stone archway built to commemorate brave Indian army
soldiers who scarified their lives for protecting pride of
nation. This 42 meter high archway constructed from the red
stones stand on the Rajpath which is used to demonstrate
defense excellence of country on republic day every year. This
is good evening picnic spot for the local citizens and
visitors as in the surrounding areas there are spacious lawns,
