Hindu mythology says Amaravati was the city of King Indira,
who was considered Lord of all Gods. If we go with Hindi
language Amar stands for immortal and vasi means native
this means Amaravati is the city of immortal people.
Amravati is budding and upcoming city of Maharashtra from
Vidharbha region and gateway to Melghat Century. On
educational fronts city is front runner in the area with
Amravati university.
Amravati is native place of saint Manoharlal sahib, Grand
son of great sindhi saint Bhagat Kanwar Ram Sahib Ji. |
